MISSION PARTNERSHIPS

MISSION PARTNERSHIPS

Through our Church Mission Partnerships we seek to act as generous members of a global church. We partner with a variety of organisations in order to learn from them and also to support them with our prayer and our finances.

In addition to special appeals (e.g., during Lent), we give a proportion of our church income to these partnerships. In recent years that has been 10% of our unrestricted income; so, when you give to the church you are also supporting these partnerships. Specific appeals (like those in Lent) are in addition to this.

For over 25 years our primary partnership has been with the orphanage and school of Casa Reom in Mozambique and half of our giving goes there. The remainder is shared between a number of other Christian organisations locally, nationally and overseas.

In the autumn of 2023 we are refreshing the list of those partners by asking the congregation to propose organisations, which we will then vote on as a church.

CASA REOM ORPHANAGE AND SCHOOL

Casa Reom Orphanage and School is our primary mission partner. It is a YWAM (Youth with a Mission) project in Beira, Mozambique.

This year we raised £ 11,142 during Lent to help them build a staff accommodation block, in addition to our normal giving.

OTHER MISSION PARTNERS

This list will be refreshed for 2024 after a congregational vote, but our current partners include:

TOYBOX

Toybox
