ACCESSIBILITY

Our building is fully accessible to those with a range of different needs. Have a look at the details below and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Car Parking

There is a car park behind the church and we have several reserved places for blue badge holders. There are two spaces in the main car park near the path to the church and two at the entrance to the car park.

Disabled Access

The church is fully accessible for wheelchair users: we have a disabled toilet and a wheelchair/chair lift to the chancel area.

Chairs can be moved to accommodate wheelchair users and some chairs have arms to assist those with mobility issues.

Small (class 1 & 2) mobility scooters are welcomed in church although class 3 scooters must be parked outside. A wheelchair is available from the front door for anyone who needs it and handrails are installed where needed.

There is a hearing loop in the church and the church lounge. Service words are shown on large, high clarity screens. On Tuesdays when we use service cards, large print versions are available.

Allergy Information

Gluten free bread is used at communion and one of the chalices contains alcohol free wine.

‘Free From’ biscuits are available with refreshments and we serve ‘allergy aware’ snacks in children’s church.

The Nest Children's Creche and Special Needs Room

The Nest is a room at the back of church that has a window onto the worship area and a speaker so you can still hear the service. If your children need somewhere to move around, or you want somewhere quieter to feed, it’s available to you.

It’s equipped with toys for tinies and things like fiddle toys, visual timetables, headphones and wobble seats for those with additional needs.
